A New Kind of Chef Event
The Depot Kitchen Sessions has been created to bring together some of the hospitality industry's leading brands, chefs and innovators for a unique day of live demonstrations, collaboration and learning.
Hosted by Charvet at The Depot, the event is designed to showcase how the very best equipment, ingredients and expertise work together to create exceptional kitchens and exceptional food.
Our ambition is to establish The Depot Kitchen Sessions as an annual event that chefs genuinely look forward to attending.
Welcome to The Depot Kitchen Sessions
Monday 14th September 2026 - The Depot, Weedon Bec, Northampton.
A Collaborative Industry Experience
This is not a traditional showroom open day or trade exhibition. Every partner has been carefully selected to play an active role in creating themed live sessions that demonstrate complete kitchen solutions rather than individual products.
By working together, we can deliver an experience that no single brand could achieve alone while providing real inspiration and value to the chefs who attend.
Your Role as a Partner
As a valued partner, we'd like your help in shaping the content of the day. The questionnaire below will help us understand how you'd like to be involved, including the equipment you can provide, development chefs or presenters you can bring, session themes you'd like to support and the marketing activity you can assist with.
Together, we'll create an event that showcases the very best of our industry while generating maximum exposure for every partner involved.
KITCHEN SESSIONS
-
A live demonstration exploring the relationship between premium ingredients, specialist cookware and live-fire cooking to create bold flavours and memorable dishes. From ingredient selection and cooking techniques to heat control and finishing, chefs will discover how fire can be used to enhance flavour, texture and theatre while maintaining consistency in a professional kitchen.
-
Demonstrating how modern refrigeration, precise temperature control and combi oven technology improve consistency, efficiency and kitchen workflow. Through live demonstrations, chefs will explore how intelligent equipment and controlled cooking methods can reduce waste, improve repeatability and deliver exceptional results, even during the busiest service periods.
-
Focusing on texture, presentation and the final details that elevate a finished dish. This session explores how plating techniques, cookware, specialist equipment and tableware work together to transform great food into an exceptional dining experience, helping chefs create dishes that are as visually impressive as they are delicious.
-
A live-service session focused on how kitchen layout, connected equipment and intelligent preparation can help chefs deliver more with smaller teams while maintaining quality and consistency. Labour pressure, rising costs and operational efficiency continue to shape professional kitchens, while technology is increasingly being used to reduce repetitive work and allow chefs to concentrate on creativity and service.
-
A practical session exploring how chefs can reduce waste, improve yield and turn overlooked ingredients into high-value menu components without compromising quality. Sustainability and tighter margins remain major concerns across hospitality, making this highly relevant to working chefs.
-
The Innovation Kitchen is where creativity takes centre stage. With no fixed agenda, this session gives chefs and partner brands the freedom to experiment with new techniques, test innovative equipment, collaborate with fellow chefs and explore ideas that push the boundaries of modern commercial kitchens. Whether it's developing new dishes, trialling new technology or simply seeing what happens when great minds work together, this is the space where inspiration meets innovation.
